Dive off the dramatic cliffs of Slieve League on the coast of West Donegal - August Bank Holiday

The Atlantic coast of Donegal boasts some of the clearest waters anywhere around Ireland with visibility in excess of 30 meters. We will be diving along the dramatic sea cliffs of Slieve League which are some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. The Ocean Voyager RIB will be operting from the sheltered harbour of Teelin with regular boat dives to these wonderful dive sites.

Slieve League Cliffs

The Oceanvoyager RIB will running regular boat dives departing from Burtonport harbour and traveling to all the top dive sites around Aranmore Island. The coastline is very dramatic with towering cliffs and huge sea caves that are big enough to drive the boat into on a calm day.

Sheltered bay at Teelin

As well as a rich variety of fish life, sponges, soft corals and crustaceans, there are some really huge shoals of Mackerel and Herring to be seen underwater during August. At times the numbers are so many that they block the sun!
