Join us for a fun filled Mediterranean Holiday on the Island of Malta.

We are offering the opportunity for new and more seasoned divers the chance to dive some of the most Iconic dive sites in the Mediterranean. This one week trip will be led by Oceandivers Instructor Dan McAuley and is the ideal holiday for both Open Water and Advanced level divers who are looking to try out their first foreign dive trip.

We will stay in the cosmopolitan resort of Bugibba on the northern coast of Malta in the three star Santa Maria Hotel ideally located close to the best dive sites. The Santa Maria offers a super base for both divers and non divers who are looking to relax by the pool.

We will be teaming up with Buddies Five Star dive centre to dive this incredible coastline. Buddies are a family run dive school & shop centrally located in Bugibba, and is only five minute walk from Qawra & St Pauls Bay on the northern coast of Malta, with the islands of Gozo and Comino just minutes away by boat.

Highlights

The diving all around Malta and Gozo is renouned for its safe clear water conditions, with warm water temperatures (surface should be a balmy 26'C) and easy shore diving access. Although there is not as much variety in marine life as the tropical dives sites, Malta has wonderful underwater reef formations and super wreck diving.

The people are all friendly and english is spoken by everyone.

What to bring

You can choose to bring your own dive gear if you have it or you can just rent everything from the dive centre out there. You will need to way up the extra baggage cost versus the rental package and decide. Definitely worth bringing your own Dive Computer as these can't be rented. The weather should be nice and warm during September but it's good to bring a fleece for chilly evening wear. Don't forget high factor sunscreen and hat!
